These particular succulents love a lot of morning sun to keep the bright colours. Will be quite happy in more shaded areas, but will show with greener colouring.
Thoroughly water until water drains out, every two days if VERY hot, or up to once a week if cooler. The principle is to only water when the soil has dried out.
