Sedum pachyphyllum, commonly known as "Blue Jelly Beans" or "Many Fingers", is a versatile groundcover succulent that goes beautifully with any arrangement or landscaping!
It tolerates almost all kinds of soil types, but thrives best in well-drained soil.
Sedum Blue Jelly Beans are very drought tolerant.
Like many succulents, its colours will vary with the amount of sun, water and nutrition it receives. In full sun, Blue Jelly Beans will take on a pinkish tinge, especially to the tips. In more shaded environment, it will tend towards light green.
Plant You Will Receive
The plant you receive will look similar to the one displayed in the photos (but may be more green or more red).
The plant in the photos is displayed in a 70mm pot.
It will be sent bare-rooted, without soil. If you would like a pot to go with the plant, please select the "With 70mm pot" option in the shopping cart. You will then receive a 70mm plastic pot with your plant.
Recommended Care
Buy potting soil designed for Succulents and Cacti, if you're uncertain about soil type.
Alternatively, you can use 50% normal potting soil with 50% pumice.
Usually water every 3 or 4 days is sufficient. Soak the soil completely, then let it dry completely before re-watering. Succulents do NOT like soggy soil stuck around their roots, so a bit more neglect is usually better than too much coddling!
Any fallen leaves from Blue Jelly Beans will take root in the soil and become a new little plant for you! It won't be long before you have masses and masses of it!
Postage
Due to quarantine restrictions, we apologise that we cannot send plants to WA, NT or Tasmania, or outside Australia.
Postage Australia-wide will be by Australian Express Post. To ensure health of the plants, orders will only be posted on the first Monday or Tuesday after payment has been received (so that plants are not stuck at a post depot over the weekend).
We are happy to combine postage on purchases of multiple plants:
For a 500g Box = $10 ( usually fits up to 6 plants)
3 Kg Box = $15,
5Kg Box = $25.
