Echeveria "Violet Queen" is one of the loveliest, elegant yet easy-care echeverias. The pale white and pink rosettes deepen in colour contrast with colder weather, and can reach approximately 15cm in diameter. In summer there will be short flower stems with small orange flowers. Truly eye-catching and will brighten up any garden!
It thrives in well-drained soil and is very drought tolerant. Grows well in outdoor conditions in a sunny to partial spot, or indoors in sunny location.
Plant You Will Receive
The plant you receive will look similar to the one displayed in the photos (but with variations of leaf colour).
The plant in the photos is displayed in a 70mm pot.
It will be sent bare-rooted, without soil. If you would like a pot to go with the plant, please select the "With 70mm pot" option in the shopping cart. You will then receive a 70mm plastic pot with your plant.
Recommended Care
Buy potting soil designed for Succulents and Cacti, if you're uncertain about soil type.
Alternatively, you can use 50% normal potting soil with 50% pumice.
Usually water every 3 or 4 days is sufficient. Soak the soil completely, then let it dry completely before re-watering. Succulents do NOT like soggy soil stuck around their roots, so a bit more neglect is usually better than too much coddling!
Postage
Due to quarantine restrictions, we apologise that we cannot send plants to WA, NT or Tasmania, or outside Australia.
Postage Australia-wide will be by Australian Express Post. To ensure health of the plants, orders will only be posted on the first Monday or Tuesday after payment has been received (so that plants are not stuck at a post depot over the weekend).
We are happy to combine postage on purchases of multiple plants:
For a 500g Box = $10 ( usually fits up to 6 plants)
3 Kg Box = $15,
5Kg Box = $25.
