Echeveria "Baron Bold" is a striking, large-sized echeveria that is noted for the rosy-pink bumps on its leaves! Capable of growing up to 25cm in diameter, it is suitable as a centrepiece for any potted arrangement or a corner of the garden.
It likes full or partial sun outdoors, where its red tones will show up the best. In winter the leaves will tend towards more red.
It thrives in well-drained soil and is drought and light frost tolerant.
Plant You Will Receive
The plant you receive will look similar to the one displayed in the photos (but with variations of leaf colour).
The plant in the photos is displayed in a 130mm pot.
It will be sent bare-rooted, without soil. If you would like a pink plastic pot to go with the plant, please select the "With 130mm pot" option in the shopping cart. You will then receive a 130mm plastic pot with your plant.
Recommended Care
Buy potting soil designed for Succulents and Cacti, if you're uncertain about soil type.
Alternatively, you can use 50% normal potting soil with 50% pumice.
Usually water every 3 or 4 days is sufficient. Soak the soil completely, then let it dry completely before re-watering. Succulents do NOT like soggy soil stuck around their roots, so a bit more neglect is usually better than too much coddling!

Due to quarantine restrictions, we apologise that we cannot send plants to WA, NT or Tasmania, or outside Australia.
Postage Australia-wide will be by Australian Express Post. To ensure health of the plants, orders will only be posted on the first Monday or Tuesday after payment has been received (so that plants are not stuck at a post depot over the weekend).
We are happy to combine postage on purchases of multiple plants:
For a 500g Box = $10 ( usually fits up to 1 plant of this size)
3 Kg Box = $15,
5Kg Box = $25.
